The CBA Bankruptcy Subsection and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado are co-sponsoring a Bench/Bar Forum with the Bankruptcy Judges. Chapter 13 Trustee Staff Attorneys Jennifer Cruseturner (Office of Adam M. Goodman) and Matthew Hoelscher (Office of Douglas B. Kiel) will provide insights, explanations, and suggestions on how to tackle income and expense documentation for self-employed debtors in Chapter 13 cases, as well as disclosure and documentation of post-petition changes in circumstances, with the goal of smoothing the path to plan confirmation. They will also share updated case closing procedures in light of the recent In re Kinney decision from the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
