GUIDELINES FOR REQUESTS UNDER 11 U.S.C.§ 362(c), (h) and (j).

The Court has issued guidelines on matters related to the termination or absence of the automatic stay, requests for an extension or imposition of the stay or requests to determine that property is of consequential value. These guidelines likely will be incorporated in some form of a Transitional Local Bankruptcy Rule. We would appreciate your constructive comments and ideas during this interim period to help us enhance the procedure in this area. Please note that on the very last page of the guidelines, there is information for Electronic filers to assist you in using the proper events when filing motions under 11 U.S.C. § 362(c), (h) or (j). Please click here to download the guidelines.
