Adversary Proceedings to be Assigned to the Underlying Case Judge
| Pursuant to Amended General Procedure Order No. 2001-3 promulgated by the bankruptcy judges on December 31, 2003, to be effective January 1, 2004, adversary proceedings shall no longer be assigned to judges based on a separate random draw. In lieu of the random draw, adversary proceedings shall be assigned to the judge to whom the underlying case is assigned. In the event a large number of adversary proceedings are filed within a single bankruptcy case, the assignment of those adversary proceedings may be distributed to all the judges in order to maintain parity in the individual caseloads of the judges. |
