NORMAL BUSINESS The Bankruptcy Court is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mountain Standard/Daylight Time.

Individuals have the right  to appear without an attorney and represent themselves in the Bankruptcy Court. However, the rules are very technical and your rights may be affected. Before deciding to appear on your own, you are strongly advised to consult your attorney, if you have one in this bankruptcy case. If you cannot afford an attorney, and need an attorney, you may contact:

Pursuant to General Order 1992-1 of the District Court of Colorado and in accordance with the guidelines authorized by the Judicial Conference of the United States, the following schedule of fees for transcripts is in effect. These are the maximum fees that may be charged, but a service may charge less than these maximum fees.
Schedule of Transcript Preparation Fees:
  Original 1st copy to each party Each additional copy to the same party
Ordinary Transcript: A transcript to be delivered within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of an order. $3.65 $0.90 $0.60
14-Day Transcript:A transcript to be delivered within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of an order. $4.25 $0.90 $0.60
Expedited Transcript: A transcript to be delivered within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of an order. $4.85 $0.90 $0.60
Daily Transcript: A transcript to be delivered following adjournment and prior to the normal opening hour of the court on the following morning whether or not it actually be a court day. $6.05 $1.20 $0.90
Hourly Transcript: A transcript of proceedings ordered under unusual circumstances to be delivered within two (2) hours. $7.25 $1.20 $0.90
Realtime Transcript:A draft unedited transcript produced by a certified realtime reporter as a byproduct of realtime to be delivered electronically during proceedings or immediately following adjournment. $3.05 $1.20  
TAPE REQUESTS

A request in writing is required indicating that a tape copy is desired. The request must indicate the case number, name of debtor, date of hearing, and matter that was heard. The tapes may then be picked up from the Customer Service Counter Cashier upon receipt of payment.
