**NOTE** The purpose of ECF Training classes is to instruct the student on how to electronically file documents in the Court's ECF System. These classes are NOT intended to educate students on the details or interpretation of Bankruptcy Law. We suggest that you contact your local Bar Association for educational opportunities on Bankruptcy Law.
Have you always wanted to be an electronic filer, but weren't sure how to start? Becoming an electronic filer is easy. All you need to do is attend a fun, exciting and FREE training class in the court's training facility located in the US Custom House, 721 19th Street. Classes are held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and CLE credit of 5 hours is available to attorney participants. Enrollment in a class is open to attorneys and support staff. Each class can accommodate eight students.
The Court offers two types of training classes: one for attorneys who work primarily with creditors and one for attorneys who work primarily with debtors. Please ensure that you are signing up for the correctly focused class!
On the web pages that follow, you will be able to sign up to attend ECF training in the District of Colorado. The electronic sign up application that follows first displays the number of open seats available for each training class. Once you are ready to sign up for training, you will click on the hyperlink ">> Sign Up for Class(es) << ". This hyperlink will then allow you to register students/attorneys for training. We ask that you only sign up two students per registration session. You may then return to the sign up page and register more students/attorneys.
Note: Class schedules are updated each month. We are currently scheduling one debtor focused and one creditor focused class per month.
IN-HOUSE CLASSES ARE GEARED TOWARDS THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE LITTLE OR NO E-FILING EXPERIENCE. IF YOU HAVE E-FILING EXPERIENCE, PLEASE CLICK HERE TO VIEW, OR CALL THE ECF HELP DESK AT THE NUMBER BELOW TO DISCUSS, OTHER TRAINING OPTIONS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU.
