- Starting July 15, 2013, we will no longer accept payments in our office over the counter after 4:15 p.m. and we will be closing from 11:30 to 12:30 daily due to staff shortages. You will need to lodge your payment and/or any documents in our after hours secured box on the first floor during the lunch closure and after 4:15, then, we will mail your receipt and any other applicable documents the following business day, this INCLUDES payments for copies. Please note that court proceedings on CD must be paid for by credit card at the time the order is placed for attorneys and non-debtors, absent leave of the Court Clerk.

GPO 2015-1 - In the Matter of Staying Dismissal of Certain Cases for Failure to Pay Filing Fee. - This General Procedure Order may stay the dismissal of a case for up to 180 days if the Trustee filed a Notice of Possible Dividends. (Please be aware that we are not going to send out Notice of Impending Dismissals for non payment of fees; those cases will be dismissed for non-payment of installments and we are including notice of the same in the installment fee order-unless the stay applies.)

Bankruptcy judges are appointed to 14-year terms pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §152. The position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and will be available September 4, 2015. INVITATION TO COMMENT ON REVISED EXHIBIT TO THE FEE WAIVER GENERAL PROCEDURE ORDER 2014-4(b). - The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado, in conjunction with the Local Rules Revision Committee, announces the opening of the comment period for the revised exhibit to GPO 2014-4(b) In the Matter of Fee Waiver Requests and Additional Delegation to the Clerk of the Court. The revised exhibit will make the form more useful, providing improved totality of the circumstances information that normally would be presented at a hearing on the request. Following review and consideration of the comments, the anticipated effective date will be February 1, 2015. Pursuant to Fed.R.Bankr.P. 9029, this proposed revised exhibit is being sent out for notice and comments. The Court welcomes comments from court users, members of the Bar and the public at large. All comments must be submitted no later than Friday, January 23, 2015.
